Graduates are well-equipped for many careers, particularly in public relations, advertising, marketing, journalism, social media, and research roles in the media industry. Modules in the Global Media and China area of study provide strong preparation for PhD applications.

Overview
Our programme’s curriculum is organised around two areas of study: Professional Communication, which is application-oriented, and Global Media and China, which is research-oriented.
The 18-month programme comprises three semesters. In each of the first two semesters, students take one compulsory module and three optional modules. In the third semester, students focus on their dissertations (Final Individual Projects).
This programme has 13 optional modules, allowing students to focus on applied media and communication skills, theory and academic skills, or a blend of both.
